# Question of Finances

* PM Studios transferred ownership of Hoppers to metapep labs without being paid to do so.
* metapep will incur recurring costs to keep the Hoppers project running.
* metapep’s co-founders combined own about 12 Hoppers and 100 $FLY. This may change over time, but those are our current stats as of the acquisition announcement.
* metapep collects a platform fee on Hoppers’ native [marketplace](/about/hoppers-website/marketplace.md), which will be used to help offset operating costs.

There are costs associated with running this project, which metapep will incur. If you would like to support us, please know we are receiving a platform fee from the [Hoppers Marketplace](https://hoppersgame.io/market).
